A Science Experiment

A while ago we did a fun experiment with coke and mentos....you probably know already what it is...

You Need:
4 mentos peppermints
1 bottle of CocoCola (preferably outside) where you can make some mess

Instuctions:
Line up the four mentos in your hand, open the bottle and put the mentos in.

Homeschooling Kiwi Style: A White Kiwi! Sooo cute! It is actually a Brown Kiwi by species.

Flower Canvas Tutorial

You will need :


A canvas (you choose the size)
Acrylic Paint (I used Reeves)
Two paintbrushes (small, and medium)


What to do:

1. Paint the canvas with your choice of background colour.

2. Paint the sides, and the underneath of the canvas (if you want).

3. After it is dried, if nesscesary, you can paint a light second coat.

4. Once the background colour is totally dry (this may take a while),

 you can paint the flower (or whatever else you want).

5. Add any finishing touches....

.....and there you have it!

Update

Last week Bethany and I spent some time at the National Cadet & Calvinette Camp 2012, at Forest Lakes, Otaki, in the North Island of New Zealand.


Just before camp, before we left, I was given a Swivel. A swivel is a digital camera. It has a lot of very cool features on it. You can edit your photos and videos on the camera, or even before you've taken them!

The videos are silent, and not the best quality, but they're okay.

Camp was real fun overall

 (apart from spraining my ankle & a little homesickness, it was fine - really)

I can NOT wait to go to the next one in 2015 in Christchurch!
